Bombay Sapphire Gin was a client I worked with over a multiple of briefs. I was shooting images for Bombay Sapphire Instagram. Bombay Sapphire is of course a very established brand, and it is always an honour to work with large brands that have multiple products. High level global brands will have many agencies that they work with, and for a product photographer like me this means I know I am working with creative teams who really understand how to communicate the essence of the product.

Fitting with Existing Creative

Bombay Sapphire has many creative levels and have their own existing structures that I had to fit into. Working with the physical drinks product was a brand ambassador who knew exactly how the perfect Bombay Sapphire Cocktail had to be made.

The level of detail goes into the exact look of the ice, the precise amount of garnish and even the angle at which they like to look into their glass.

The Brief

In terms of the brief and creative, we were working closely with the Proximity London creative team, executing their visuals and art direction on the shoot. Logistically, our job was a bit tricky, as we needed to work alongside the existing video production, shooting with the minimal amount of fuss, noise and disruption. It all worked out just fine of course.
