Marketing headphones plays a big part in the highly competitive consumer technology market. It is no wonder that Bowers and Wilkins have focused their audio expertise into this area. Studio Styling and Location Lifestyle
Headphone Photography is a pleasure in both the technical studio product shots to the moire emotive and styled studio approach. Then we get into communicating the look and feel of wearing the headphones with the more guerrilla marketing ‘on the run’ lifestyle images with models, and then the more considered location and use case. In providing our creative services to our clients, we have produced both stills and film.
When shooting in the studio our stylist sources simple background textures and related props giving the shots a context and environment. Photographing technical challenging hero product shots still work really well for the brand, as both the focused product images and more natural lifestyle images are needed to give the variety of content the client needs.
As the market has progressed into higher and higher levels of technology so we have been working alongside different creative suppliers, such as fashion editorial photographers and CG studios. In supporting marketing teams in any way we can, our approach is to be team players when part of an overall creative supply network.
Working with models on location provides a strong plan and the correct organisational logistics. When I shoot with models, I like to still make my images product focused, but the creative remains firmly in the lifestyle marketplace. If the brief requires some overtly model or fashion led images we would use our associate network to bring in the right creative service.
